Mon. Sept. 8th – Fall Semester begins
Oct. 13 – 17 (Mon – Thur) – Watch Week/Parent Observation
Sat. Nov 1st and Sun. Nov 2nd – Cecchetti Workshop at DanceStation – mandatory for students working on Cecchetti exams
Fri. Oct. 31st – Halloween NO CLASSES
Tues. Nov 11th – State Street Dance Company will march in the O’Fallon Veteran’s Day Parade
Nov. 24 – Nov. 29th (Mon – Sat) – Thanksgiving/Fall Break NO CLASSES
Sat. Nov 29th – our SSDC dancers will march/dance in O’Fallon’s Christmas light parade
Sat. Dec 6th – Nutcracker Dress Rehearsal and Class pictures at the studio – mandatory for those participating in the Nutcracker performances
Thur. Dec 11th – Nutcracker Dress Rehearsal at the Hettenhausen Center for the Arts- mandatory for those participating in the Nutcracker performances
Dec. 15th – Jan. 4th – Christmas/Winter Break – NO CLASSES
Mon. Jan 5th classes resume
January – Recital Costume Deposit due
Jan 31st and Feb 1st – Cecchetti Workshop at Rena’s in Edwardsville. Mandatory only for dancers examining in March
Feb 27th – March 1st (Fri – Sun) – Cecchetti exam weekend at DanceStation
April – Costume balance due
March 31st – April 6th (Tues – Easter Monday) Spring Break – NO CLASSES
Sun. May 31st – Recital Pictures at the studio
June 1-7th – RECITAL WEEK! Please make sure you are not on vacation this week, as these are mandatory rehearsals in order to participate in the recitals– NO REGULAR CLASSES – full cast rehearsals at the studio and Dress Rehearsals (at The Hettenhausen Center for the Arts) – mandatory to participate in recital – specific days and times for each class will be sent home in March
Jun. 8 – 21 – Summer Break – NO CLASSES
