Costume balance and April Reminders

A few reminders:

The costume balance was due at the beginning of April. We still have families that have not paid the balance, and we would like to start sending costumes home next month. Please log in to your parent portal to check the balance and pay your dancer’s costume balance before the $10 late fee kicks in on Thursday, May 1st. We do not send costumes home that still have a balance due.

Parents of 3/4yr and 5/6 yr olds: please do not drop your childern off unattended in the lobby. Our teachers are in the studios teaching back-to-back classes with other children until we switch classes, and we don’t want any little ones wandering out the door or climbing on tables and furniture when unattended. Also please make sure your little ones go to the restroom before class. For our 3/4 yr old classes – it’s only a 45 min class and during recital time we would like to be practicing their dances and not running back and forth to the restroom. All children are to be potty trained fully and should not be wearing pull-ups to class. The teachers thank you so much for your help before class!

Dress code: as the weather is getting nicer, some of our students have been forgetting our dress code.  All female dancers are to wear a leotard and tights at all times (or a leotard and leggings for jazz/tap/modern classes are also ok). Dance shorts/yoga shorts that are longer in length are ok, but the shorter shorts must be worn with tights. Gym shorts and loose shorts are not allowed. And baggy t-shirts may be asked to be removed after warmups.

Next week we will send home the May newsletter with the recital information about tickets, class picture schedule, and how to order recital t-shirts, flowers, tights, performance DVD’s and flashdrives etc. Looking forward to an exciting month leading up to our performances!!!
