Detailed instructions for tomorrow’s online Fall Registration for returning students

DanceStation Fall Registration Time!

Fall registration is online again this year on Saturday August 10^th. You will log into your parent portal to see your dancer’s options, choose their class(es) and then your $35 registration fee will lock in their place in class. We also have an in-person Open House/Fall Registration this Sunday, August 11^th from 3 – 6pm, where you can come pick up Recital pictures, flash drives, DVD’s and can register for class in person on Sunday if needed. The younger levels tend to fill up quickly, so remember to log in Saturday morning if there is a specific day and time that you are looking for. We offer multiple options for our younger dancers, so you will have several to choose from. As the levels get higher (Ballet 3 and up) there is only one option per level.  Here is how you will register your dancers for class online.

1. On Saturday, August 10^th, log into your parent portal account. ***No dancers/classes will be shown until Aug 10^th when the registration system goes live. So if you log in before August 10^th – this ‘Register for Classes’ will be blank.

If you can’t find your log in info or need your username and a temporary password, please email me at edancestation@yahoo.com. You can log in on our DanceStation app if you click on Pay My Bill and enter your username and password. This will bring you into your account.

2. Underneath where you normally pay your bill there will be a place to click Register for Classes. If you have multiple children, it will show all family members.
3. Click on your child to see the classes offered with days/times/teachers and prices.
4. Choose your classes. Adult classes show up on everyone’s portal as an option.
5. Pay your registration fee of $35 through the portal, or by coming to the studio on Sunday and paying by check or cash. Your class choices will not be locked in until you pay your $35 registration fee. So, you can either pay through the portal or come in and see us on Sunday!
6. Ballet class is required for all students until age 14. If you don’t get your first choice of classes because the class is full, you can join the waitlist. I will contact you if someone drops or changes classes and a space becomes available. Younger classes may fill quickly, but often someone will change days or drop before the year starts. So, if you are on the waitlist, sometimes you can still get into that class before September.

In-person Open House is Sunday, August 11^th from 3-6pm. Come get your Recital DVD’s, flash drives, printed pictures, and talk to us in person if you have any questions about Registration.  Summer Office hours next week:  Mon Aug 12^th and Wed Aug 14^th from 5:30-7:30pm if you need to call or stop by.

Class Prices

*First class is $275 per semester or $55 per monthly installment. This includes 3/4 yr old pre-K class, 5/6 yr old pre-ballet/tap class, and all Ballet classes 2 and up

*Combination Ballet/tap/jazz (one hour 15 min class) for ages 7-11 is $325 per semester or $65 per monthly installment

*Ballet levels 2 and up are $275 per semester or $55 per monthly installment. Additional classes are $30 for each additional hour or longer class (jazz, tap, modern)

*Boys Hip Hop (all boys ages 7 and up welcome! It was a huge hit at the recital last year!) Wednesdays at 4:45-5:30pm $55 (plus a 20% discount on tuition for 2^nd family member)

***Adult Ballet Tuesday 7-8pm with Mr. Ben Mielke: $165 per 12 weeks ($55 per month)

***Adult Stretch/Yoga Tues 8-8:45pm with Mr. Ben Mielke: $135 for 12 weeks ($45 per month) No experience necessary for any of our awesome adult classes and we offer 20% off 2^nd family member’s tuition, 50% off 3^rd family member’s tuition, and 4^th family member dances for FREE!!! Come join our adult classes!!!! Because of our busy schedules as parents, these classes are offered as 12-week sessions.  These classes run Sept 10^th-Dec 3^rd for first semester, and mid-January to mid-April for second semester.

*Cecchetti classes: specialized ballet classes taught by certified Cecchetti teachers with the ability to send in students for exams.

Cecchetti levels 1 and 2:  $40 per month (Sept-March)

Cecchetti levels 3 and 4:  $45 per month (Sept-March)

Cecchetti level 5 and 6:  $60 per month (Sept-March)

Cecchetti level 7:  $65 per month (Sept- March)

Online payments:  When using the parent portal to pay online, Dancestudio-pro charges 2.9%+.30 per transaction for credit cards and debit cards. If you want to lower those fees, you can choose ACH (e-checks directly from your bank) for the lower .80%. Or to avoid the convenience fees altogether, you can pay at the studio by cash or check.

Fall classes begin the first full week of September: Monday, September 9^th.
