If you signed up for auto-pay: November tuition auto-pay will go through later today, Friday, November 4th.
The DanceStation black long-sleeve t-shirt order forms are available in the lobby and are also being sent home at the end of each pre/K, combination, or ballet class. The t-shirts will all have our logo across the front of the shirt. The example in the lobby is on the back, but we are doing the logo across the front of the shirts this year. Also, if you order a Mom, Dad, Gma, or Gpa t-shirt, there is a place on the order form for those as well. The t-shirts are $28, the price was not included on the forms – my bad!!! I’ll have corrected forms in the lobby, but you can include the price in the old forms as well. These orders are due by next Thursday, November 10th. You can pay by check, cash, or by parent portal, but we will need the actual physical form turned into the orange bin in the lobby. Screenshots of the form sent over email or by texting are too hard to keep track of. Only the physical forms will be accepted for these orders. These t-shirts will be ready for pick-up the week of December 5th, in time for Christmas orders! Yay!
Our pre-professional group, State Street Dance Company, will be performing our Fall Festival of Dance on Saturday, November 19th at 6:30pm at the Hettenhausen Center for the Arts. We have a Galaxy/outer space themed ballet medley called Dreamscape and many fun Jazz, Tap, Broadway, and Modern/Contemporary dances to showcase as well. We have pieces from several local guest artists, DanceStation alumni, and all of our current teachers are presenting works as well! It is truly a wide variety of different styles, and we cannot wait to perform them for you! Tickets will be available in the lobby starting Monday, November 7th – or you can also purchase them through an SSDC member starting next week as well.
Miss Emma Cooper will be guest teaching for our Jazz 6, 7, Intermediate, and Advanced Jazz classes in the month of November. She is a very accomplished alumni of DanceStation and will be performing the role of “Jennyanydots” in the Royal Caribbean production of Cats this coming season. We are excited to have her teach before she leaves!
Thanksgiving break is Mon. Nov 21 – Sun. Nov 27th.
Now that the evenings are getting darker earlier, please use extra caution and slow down in the parking lot and the alley in the back of the building.
Our State Street Dance Company members will be dancing in the O’Fallon Holiday Illuminated Parade on Saturday, Nov. 26th. Look for us there!!!
