This week is watch week/parent observation
This upcoming week is watch week/parent observation week at DanceStation!!! Parents are invited into each class to watch their dancer. We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on these first few weeks!
To help keep classes running smoothly we ask a few things from each family:
- Many of our classes this year are very large, so we ask that you keep guests to 2-3 per family. It will be very tight in each room with some of those larger classes, so we need to make room for parents/guardians first and foremost.
- If you bring young children, they must be with you at all times. Watch week is challenging with large audiences, and children running around disturbing class makes it near impossible to keep our younger dancers’ attention. We suggest getting a baby sitter for younger kids that will have a hard time sitting quietly during class, or switching off with a parent/guardian in the lobby…like a ride swap but for class 😉
- Seats are limited and are for parents and grandparents; children should be prepared to sit on the floor.
- Please silence your cell phones during class.
- Enjoy the week!!! All classes are open to watch week except SSDC rehearsals and Sat Cecchetti classes. Thanks!!!
- Nutcracker tickets are pretty much sold out (except for a handful on Fri evening). We really really hope that everyone heard, read, saw our multiple warnings about tickets, and that every family participating in our Nutcracker got tickets, or made it onto the waiting list. If you have an extra ticket to sell, you can post it on the dry erase board in the lobby, just remember to take the sign down once the tickets have been sold. You can also call the Hett box office.
- We have an official date for the roof and siding from the hail storm last March. The new roof goes up on Fri. Oct 31st and the siding goes on Fri. Nov 7th. We chose Fridays so that, hopefully, the parking lot will be clear during the week!
