A few April reminders

*Tuition and costume balances were due the first week of April. We give everyone an extra week of grace time before the late fee kicks in after the 15th of each month.  We hope to send costumes home in May to students with balances paid in full, so please pay your costume balances and missing tuition by the end of this month.

**Please slow down when driving in the back alley/parking lot and watch closely when kids are walking to and from class. We have had several close calls lately, and the homeowners who have garages in the alley have complained again about the speeding of cars in the alleys. Please slow down, be mindful of others, and arrive a few minutes early so you aren’t rushing kids into class late.

***All female dancers should be wearing a leotard to class at all times.  We found a few modern and jazz/tap kids last week in class without a leotard on. Leggings over leotards for modern and jazz/tap is fine, but never without a leotard. It is a mandatory dress code item to wear to class. Also pink tights for all ballet classes, and hair in a tidy bun for Ballet 2 and up.

****Please continue to send your dancers with water.  We’ve been taking more water breaks now that we are working really hard on their dances, and a lot of them have been forgetting every week.

*****May Newsletters will include a lot of recital info, picture times, tights order form, optional recital t-shirt, DVD, flower orders, info about tickets (they go on sale the day of Group Pictures – May 29th – for people who have paid both the May and June installments of tuition). It will also include information on parent volunteers and our SSDC bake sale fundraiser is back!!!
