April reminders

April reminders:

*Costume balances have been posted in the parent portal. It shows the remaining balance for the ballet costumes, for combination jazz/tap classes, and any costume rentals. Our 3/4yr and 5/6yr classes will show a tap costume rental. In order to keep costs down and to avoid two costumes that they will outgrow in less than a year, we do rentals for tap costumes at that age. It is a black leotard, shiny/flippy skirt with shoe and hair bow accessories. Older classes will have a combined jazz/tap costume that can be used for both dances. Modern, Tap, and Broadway classes will also show a costume rental whenever possible. Lots of studios order full costumes for every single class, $75 – $80 per costume for ballet, tap, pointe, jazz, modern, bway and hip hop.  We use costume rentals to save everyone some money where we can.

*To view your costume balance charges individually – go to your parent portal account, click on “Balance”, then view “Statements”. It will show all charges and payments for the year right up to the last charges which are the costume balance charges. Even if you pay by check or cash you will need to access your account to view your costume balance owed. If you don’t remember your password, or get locked out trying to get into your account, just email me at edancestation@yahoo.com and I will send you a temporary link and password to get into your account.

*For auto-pay parents – you will need to manually pay for costume balances. Auto-pay will go through today, but only for tuition. It does not pull for costumes, tickets, dvd’s, etc.

*Broadway Jr class begins tomorrow from 4-5pm. Bway Jr is a 9-week class with an $85 fee which is due tomorrow by the beginning of class. You can drop off cash or check, or pay through the parent portal. We can’t wait to start Hard Knock Life from Annie!

*Bway 6 also starts tomorrow from 7:15-8pm – they are performing to Honey Honey from Mamma Mia, and is $25 per month added to your monthly tuition.

*Only Elizabeth’s classes are meeting this evening on Easter Monday. However, we are watching the weather and will let everyone know closer to classes this evening if any classes need to be rescheduled due to severe weather. As of now, we are still having class. All other Monday classes have the evening off since they met last week.
