New Combined recital performance times!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are so thrilled that the Hettenhausen Center for the Arts has decided to enter their own version of the Bridge phase! We will now be allowed up to 174 people in the audience in pods of 6! If you have more than 6 seats reserved per family, you may have 2 pods (right next to each other) to split however you choose. So what does this new development mean for us???? It means we can go from doing 11 shows down to 7 shows, and we can really begin feeling like we have a real recital again. We can now have 3-4 classes in each performance instead of just two. So…
We are going to combine the two Wed evening performances into one show, the two Thur evening performances into one show, the two Friday evening Ballet 2-3 and 2-4 performances into one show, and the two Sat Ballet 5-6 and Ballet 6-7 performances into one show. You will still have the same number of seats that you reserved in the first and second round of seat reservations, that has not changed at all. The Aladdin class cannot be combined into the Cinderella Ballet 2-4 performance, so they will still have their own show. However, we are going to be presenting several dances from my older State Street Dance Company members, so you will still see other dances within that show as well.
My Int/Adv shows on Saturday will not be affected by this change, we cannot combine those shows without going over 200 in the audience. However, the 3:30pm show will be moved earlier to 3pm so that the dancers can have a good dinner break in between shows. WE WILL POST THESE TIME CHANGES EVERYWHERE… On this app, Facebook, a new newsletter, and our teachers will announce it after class this week! I hate changing anything this close to the recitals, but this is so exciting for us! Combining shows on the same evening will hopefully make things easier on everyone and more fun to watch additional kiddos on stage. We will still be required to wear masks in the audience. These are their rules that allow us to go up to this higher capacity in the audience, and we are guests in their building. If you have anyone in your party that will not comply, they should stay home and just watch the DVD because the Hett staff takes this very seriously. Honestly, we’ve never had a problem with that, my parents are just happy to see our kids dance in whatever capacity we can. We are thrilled with this latest update, and although times may change slightly on each recital day, we are so glad to be getting back to normal. Soon, soon, soon.
